Choosing an expert lawyer

TPD claims require careful consideration of complex legal issues. That is why we suggest that you seek legal advice before you lodge your claim with the insurance company. A lawyer can advise you on the application process and help you obtain the necessary medical evidence so as to ensure all the relevant information is able for the insurance company to make a proper determination.

If you do this, and your claim is denied by the insurer, then we strongly suggest that you obtain legal assistance. You should be aware that there are time limits for appeals to the courts and the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal. Therefore, you should seek legal advice immediately, without delay.
